zero2hero - Day 2
Today I have written a German introduction to Wordpress 3.0. This is the result ... Einleitung.
Shortly after, I received a motivation tweet from @podlebar
I need to find a way how I can deal with writing and grammar mistakes. This morning I had a comment by Marcel about this topic. I wonder if I should use version control or whether this makes it too complicated.
If you find spelling mistakes, please write a comment.
Isa (and Google :-)) helped me a lot with the French translations of the blog entries - zero2hero - Jour 1 and Mes prochaine trois mois and in the common basics area (thanks).
I have created a book called Common basics. Here I will store all content, which are the same for all systems.
In the right column you will find now an additional block "Books" with direct links to three online books.
jpoesen offered me to proofread the English parts ... ***happy***
Today I posted my first #followfriday tweet and will now recommend any Twitter user who helps me here :-)
Today: @murgeys, @jpoesen, @pinolo, @poodlebar, @achimnz
The hashtag #zero2hero appears more and more.
Unfortunately, I have take a break from #zero2hero until Monday, July 26th.
In the intervening weeks I will try to build a website with Drupal 7 (I do not want to start any more projects with Drupal 6).
If and when it will go live depends on several things.
I'll try to blog about it and hope to be ready by Friday, July 23th.

git?
How about creating a public github repo and keeping the chapters there? That way you have backups, version control and concurrent editing taken care of.
Wim Leers uses it to keep track of his Bachelor's and Master's theses, and the book 'Pragmatic Version Control with Git' was created that way too.
Could be an interesting experiment...
